Missouri, Kansas see growth in labor force



Job markets in both Missouri and Kansas saw improvements over the last year, according to the latest U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs report.

Unemployed decreased in both states from September 2013 to September 2014, by 7,600 people in Kansas and 2,500 in Missouri,.

The labor force in both states increased. Kansas saw a growth of 16,000 workers, while Missouri saw a growth of 29,100 workers.
