Four-year-old logistics provider Dynamic Logistix is the fastest growing company in Missouri or its neighboring suburbs, according to the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine’s annual ranking of the nation’s 5,000 fastest growing companies.
The 50-employee firm’s revenue for 2018 was $54.4 million, a 3,840% increase since its 2015 founding, according to Inc., which uses 3-year revenue growth to determine the ranking.
Dynamic Logistix is the 82nd fastest growing company in the nation, making it the only company in Missouri or the St. Louis and Kansas City metro areas to rank in Inc.’s top 100. The firm, founded by Jeff Auslander in Overland Park, Kansas, sells a software logistics tool.
Other highly ranked firms from the area include:
- No. 147 – Sethmar Transportation, an Overland Park, Kansas-based asset light logistics provider earning $9.2 million in 2018 with a 3-year growth of 2,540%;
- No. 170 – Sapper Consulting, a St. Louis-based company that gathers business-to-business leads for industries and earned $6.4 million in 2018, growing by 2,274%;
- No. 201 – Axiom Strategies, a Kansas City-based political consulting company that earned $138.4 million in 2018, growing by 2,013%;
- No. 210 – Empowered Electric, a North Kansas City-based company founded in 2015 that made $3.6 million in 2018, growing by 1,944%.
In total, 98 companies from Missouri or the Kansas City and St. Louis metro areas made the list.
Inc.’s annual list started in 1982 as Inc. 500, growing to 5000 in 2007. To qualify, companies must have made at least $2 million in revenue in the last recent year and be private and independent.
