Here are 9 Global Entrepreneurship Week events drawing big interest in KC

Global Entrepreneurship Week kicks off Monday and features various events across Missouri, including over 200 in the Kansas City area. This marks the 11th year of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, or GEW, which celebrates entrepreneurship worldwide while offering tips to current and prospective business founders.

Since it was established, GEW has grown to span 170 countries.

Many of the Kansas City events are based in the 18th and Vine district. All are free and follow five tracks: makers and creators, startups, scalers, social enterprise and tech.

Coordinators of GEW in Kansas City supplied a list of the events generating the most pre-registrations. Below is a sampling of those, plus a couple of other highlight events. To search what’s taking place beyond Kansas City, visit the Global Entrepreneurship Week website.
