Kansas City Startup? Kauffman Foundation Wants You

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation is trying to draw a family tree of sorts of the Kansas City technology community.

On Monday, the Kansas City-based foundation put out on all-call for CEOs, presidents and founders of high-tech companies in Kansas City, asking them to participate in a new survey.

“Results of the survey will define how companies and resources in the Kansas City region are connected to one another,” the foundation wrote in a survey invitation email.

The foundation said it will use information collected from local tech entrepreneurs during the next two months to create a genealogy map of tech firms in Kansas City.
