St. Louis startup Click With Me Now returned from a trip to the South By Southwest Interactive in Austin, Texas with some high-profile press clippings and gobs of potential new users.
The team behind Click With Me Now, an application that allows consumers to share their web browsing sessions with friends or family members in real time, almost didn’t go to South By Southwest (SXSW) because of the costs of attending the high-profile tech festival. As it turns out, SXSW may have been an event the company couldn’t afford to miss.
Around SXSW, which took place earlier this month, the startup was featured in stories by Inc. magazine and Mashable. Click With Me Now’s website, which averaged about 80 visitors per week prior to the festival, got close to 4,000 from almost 100 countries the week of the event.
“We went down there as this little company from St. Louis,” Click With Me Now co-founder Mike Behr said of his company, which is still testing its product. “And we came back — now we’ve got companies from around the world wanting to talk to us.”
