FastTrac New Venture Workshop

9 a.m.-4 p.m. at SLATE – Missouri Career Center (1520 Market St., Suite 300, St. Louis)

In FastTrac NewVenture you will look at all aspects of your proposed company, exploring the feasibility of your business concept and learning how to develop a viable business plan. Participants will learn about startup issues and learn to address the competition, legal matters, marketing and financial management aspects. FastTrac participants don’t just learn about business, they work on their own business endeavors throughout the course.

Microsoft Excel 2010 Level 1

Learn the practical uses of Microsoft Excel 2010. Participants will be given an overview of Excel and will learn how to build, format, save, and print Excel workbooks. Toby Rush is a serial entrepreneur with 13 years of mobile and wireless experience. As founder and CEO of two mobile ventures, his deep expertise in imaging, sensors and mobility gives him early insight into the trends and technologies impacting consumers and the enterprise. Prior to his two startups, EyeVerify and Rush Tracking Systems, Toby led the product development and QA for SAT Corp, a venture-funded mobile software company. Toby also started and led the MobilEdge practice group for BSI consulting. He started his career with Accenture deploying SAP enterprise systems.
