Recent confidential survey results show Missouri’s state workforce suffers from entrenched leadership failures.
In summer 2017, approximately 75 percent of the state workforce participated in a free research project performed by McKinsey & Company. The results of the study, which were obtained by the press, showed that Missouri received below-average scores in at least one of four leadership categories in every state department surveyed.
Responses showed a need for the state to improve leadership communication and direction for workers.
Overall, Missouri ranked in the bottom 25 percent of entities that have participated in the study.
