Just a week after Hurricane Sandy blasted along the East Coast, hundreds of flights are being canceled in anticipation of a nor’easter headed that way.
A total of 21 flights at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport have been canceled Wednesday due to the coming storm.
Ten arriving flights have been canceled, including five from New York LaGuardia and five from Newark, N.J., and 11 departures have been canceled, five to New York LaGuardia and six to Newark according to Lambert’s website.
The storm had caused more than 880 flight cancellations by Wednesday morning.
Superstorm Sandy led to more than 20,000 flight cancelations last week.
