Kansas City entrepreneur Chris Shaw has lined up support from Hallmark Cards and Sprint Nextel for a documentary he’s producing as part of the test of Google Glass, the wearable computer being developed by Google.

Shaw, who works at Think Big Partners, was selected in March as a Google Glass tester. He plans to create a documentary called Tech Trek that will use Google Glass to help tell the stories of technology startups on a journey spanning San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boulder, Colo., and Kansas City.

Shaw, who has raised more than $10,800 for the documentary as of Tuesday on crowdfunding site Kickstarter, said he expects to start the project this summer.
