Microgrid Solar is expanding operations across the country after a year of growth. The St. Louis-based solar company plans to open four more offices across the nation after nearly doubling its expected revenue in 2013, bringing in more than $42 million.

Microgrid Solar’s growth comes against the backdrop of a larger debate about solar rebate caps in Missouri. The company says that if rebates end in Missouri, it will continue to work in the state and return its focus to energy efficiency services, an original objective of the company.
