CFO, Two Financial Executives Ousted At Mercy Health

Chesterfield-based Mercy Health is restructuring its finance and revenue management departments and has ousted Chief Financial Officer Randy Combs, the chief revenue cycle officer and the vice president for patient receivables.

Combs worked for Mercy for more than 26 years and was appointed CFO in 2009. In late 2012 he took on a new post that made him responsible for overseeing Mercy’s planned investment of $4.6 billion in Missouri, including a $2.4 billion investment in the St. Louis area.

Mercy, the nation’s sixth largest Catholic health care system, declined to explain what precipitated the shake-up.
