The Columbia chapter of the NAACP and the Boone County Libertarian Party have both endorsed the measure. The chairman of the Boone County Libertarian Party said “marijuana prohibition is a failed policy.”

The League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County, the Central Missouri Chapter of the Missouri Association for Social Welfare, and the Missouri Civil Liberties Association also have endorsed the bill.
