Techweek, a national conference that will take place in Kansas City for the first time in September, announced its Techweek 100. The list, which recognizes individuals in the Kansas City area that “have made a significant impact on the technology and innovation ecosystem in which they operate,” includes 169 leaders from the business, government and nonprofit sectors.

Techweek named Neighbor.ly as a breakout startup that’s had impressive traction and funding. It also highlighted Think Big Partners for connecting entrepreneurs to needed resources.

In the large corporation sector, Techweek said Cerner Corp. and Black & Veatch are not only creating jobs and innovating, but that they also “make people feel good about what they are contributing to.”
