Southwest warns travelers after hundreds of delays Sunday

Southwest Airlines, the largest carrier at Kansas City International Airport and Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, said passengers flying Monday should arrive at least two hours before their flights, as technical issues that delayed hundreds of flights Sunday could continue to hamper operations.

The Dallas-based airline urged passengers to check in online and to print boarding passes before arriving at the airport.

As of Sunday evening, some 450 of the airline’s 3,600 flights scheduled for Sunday had been delayed.
