Pfizer to consolidate offices at new $200 million Chesterfield campus

Pfizer plans to consolidate two locations in the St. Louis area into a $200 million Chesterfield facility, company officials said Tuesday.

The New York-based pharmaceutical company will maintain its existing workforce of 450 employees in the St. Louis region and hire about 80 more people over the next several years.

The state of Missouri is providing Pfizer with $5 million through the Missouri Works program and $800,000 through the Missouri Works Training program based on job creation goals.

Pfizer is still negotiating with St. Louis County officials for local incentives, though Pfizer is expected to receive some sort of real estate tax abatement.
