Teams of graduate students from the University of Missouri’s business and journalism schools will present the results of semester-long consulting projects Friday during the Center for the Digital Globe’s annual media business plan competition.
A live stream of the event begins at 8:45 a.m. and can be viewed through the Reynolds Journalism Institute’s website.
Five student teams will pitch business plans during Friday’s event. Each team worked with one of five professional clients – the Associated Press, GroundSource, PolitiFact, the New America Foundation and Bloomberg BNA – throughout the semester to help the client solve a business problem.
Missouri Business Alert will have full coverage of the day’s events after they are completed.
