Travelers from Columbia seeking shuttle service to airports in St. Louis and Kansas City now have one less option.
MO-X Doc & Norm Direct announced Tuesday that it has acquired its primary competitor, EZGO Bus.
The two companies provide shuttles from Columbia to St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Kansas City International Airport. The purchase was agreed upon last week, according to a news release.
In the news release, Norman Ruebling and Brent Moore, MO-X’s co-owners, said the company remains committed to pleasing both their new and old customers. They also assured passengers that they “will continue providing premier service” to Kansas City and St. Louis.
Ruebling said the company would be taking over the entirety of EZGO’s operations. Its vehicles and routes are also being acquired, and all prepaid reservations will be taken care of by MO-X.
