A company is reviving its effort to build a system of gondolas to transport passengers through the air along the main drag in Branson.
American Gondolas, which first proposed the idea two years ago, has a newly revised plan to bring aerial lifts to the southwest Missouri tourist destination.
Plans call for a project that would cost between $160 million and $200 million and run along the Highway 76 corridor, which is home to many of the city’s tourist attractions. The system would feature six or seven terminals between its two endpoints.
City officials are planning a public forum to address the idea.
