Kansas City-based Flyover Capital announced Thursday the $63 million sale of one of its portfolio firms, Agrible, to Colorado fertilizer company Nutrien.
Agrible, an ag-tech company based in Illinois, created a platform that includes a variety of farmer advisory tools, data science capabilities and predictive analytics.
Flyover Capital participated in three rounds of investments in Agrible. This is the venture capital firm’s second sale since launching in 2014, with the first being ZOLOZ from Kansas City.
Flyover Capital has invested in 13 companies from Missouri, Kansas and six other states. The firm was founded with the goal of fueling a new generation of tech startups in the Midwest.
