Sugarfire Smoke House is set to open its 11th restaurant next week in Cape Girardeau, marking the latest in a series of expansionary moves by the St. Louis barbecue restaurant.
Sugarfire chef and owner Mike Johnson is teaming with Matt Martin and Jim Cook, who own and operate two of the restaurant’s locations, and owner/operator Doug Lang to open Sugarfire Cape.
The restaurant’s menu will be mostly consistent with other locations, although it will feature some local flair by partnering with local sausage maker Oberle Meats out of Ste. Genevieve on a jalapeño cheddar sausage.
