KC and St. Louis Fed boards announce changes

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City on Tuesday both announced a handful of leadership changes involving high-ranking executives from local companies.

In St. Louis, Express Scripts Holding Co. chairman and CEO was named the bank’s board chairman, effective Jan. 1. He currently serves as the vice chairman of the board. Four others, including two St. Louis-area executives, were elected or appointed to the bank’s board:

  • Rakesh Sachdev, president and CEO of Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis)
  • Kathleen Mazzarella, chairman, president and CEO of Graybar Electric Co. (Clayton)
  • Susan S. Stephenson, co-chairman and president of Independent Bank (Memphis, Tenn.)
  • John N. Roberts III, president and CEO of JB Hunt Transportation Services Inc. (Lowell, Ark.)

In Kansas City, Paul Thompson, the CEO of Kansas City-based Country Club Bank, was elected to a three-year term after serving the final year of an unexpired term for the last year.

Jonathan Kemper, the chairman of Kansas City-based Commerce Bank, was reappointed as the Tenth District’s representative on the Federal Advisory Council for 2015.
