Koster adds to fundraising lead, Greitens enjoys big quarter

Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster has close to $4 million in his campaign coffer after raising nearly $1 million in the last three months to support a bid for governor in 2016.

That gives Koster, the state’s lone Democratic candidate to declare for the 2016 race, a sizable fundraising lead over his Republican competitors.

Catherine Hanaway, the former Missouri house speaker and an announced Republican candidate for governor, has $1.5 million on hand after raising $360,000 in the last quarter.

Eric Greitens, who has not announced he is running but is considered a likely GOP candidate, has $1.1 million on hand after raising more than $791,000 in the last three months.
