Missouri Unemployment Rate Rises Slightly
The unemployment rate in Missouri rose a tenth of a point to 6.7 percent in February, according to data released by the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
The state’s payrolls increased by 3,900 jobs during for the month, on a seasonally-adjusted basis. Employment growth was led by the construction industry, which was up by 4,500 jobs, which offset losses in other sectors such as accommodation and food services.
