Embezzler Steals More Than $1 Million From MSU Bookstore

The former director of the Missouri State University bookstore has admitted to a fraud scheme in which he made off with more than $1.16 million in funds over about a decade. The scheme, investigators explained, involved the director embezzling funds through the student textbook buy-back program. The university president called it “a staggering sum.”
