Dunn Construction CEO elected new Kansas City Chamber chair

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce unanimously elected Terry Dunn as its new chair, the chamber announced in a news release. Dunn, the president and CEO of JE Dunn Construction Group, will begin his term on Saturday. He succeeds Roshann Parris, the president and CEO of Parris Communications.

Dunn will become just the second person in the organization’s history to serve more than one term as chair. Conrad Mann was the first, holding the position for consecutive terms from 1928 to 1934.

The chamber also elected other new officers and board members. The new officers include:

  • Chair Elect – Terry Bassham, President and COO, Kansas City Power & Light
  • Vice Chair – Karen Daniel, CFO, Black & Veatch
  • Treasurer – Matt Condon, CEO, Bardavon Health Innovation
  • Immediate Past Chair – Parris

Dunn and Parris will be honored at the chamber’s 127th annual dinner, which takes place Nov. 25 in the Grand Ballroom of the Kansas City Convention Center.
