Kansas City Chamber targets younger members

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is making a concerted push to recruit younger members, an effort reflected in the recent election of Bardavon Health Innovations CEO Matt Condon as one of the organization’s officers.

“We’re not your grandfather’s chamber anymore,” chamber CEO Jim Heeter said.

The chamber will also place emphasis on attracting minority and women leaders, Heeter said, because a variety of voices and perspectives will help the organization and the work it does for Kansas City.
