KC development group celebrates record year for job recruitment

The Kansas City Area Development Council celebrated the best job-recruitment year in its history Friday. The organization said at its annual luncheon that 3,286 jobs, representing an annual payroll of $150 million, set a record for KCADC recruitment of new employers to the Kansas City area.

The economic development group also announced it was ranked “best in class” by Development Counsellors International in a national survey of 356 site location consultants and corporate executives.
