Missouri minimum wage will increase to $7.65

Cost-of-living adjustments built into Missouri’s minimum wage law will drive the state’s required hourly wage up to $7.65 for 2015. That’s an increase of 15 cents over the state’s 2014 minimum wage of $7.50, and it’s 40 cents higher than the national minimum of $7.25.

Missouri is one of 29 states that will have a state minimum higher than the federal minimum as of Jan. 1. It’s one of nine that will see an automatic increase as a result of inflation indexes in state law.
