A St. Louis-based startup incubator is set to plant its seeds in Europe. SixThirty, launched in 2013, will formally announce the expansion later this month.
The incubator is expected to announce a presence in the Asia-Pacific region, as well. SixThirty has invested in 44 startups since its founding.
Managing Partner Atul Kamra told St. Louis Public Radio the incubator plans to build partnerships with companies in the financial and insurance technology sectors.
Samarth Shekhar will serve as regional manager for Europe, based in Amsterdam. He co-founded a European hub that matches fintech startups with investors and financial backers.
Kamra plans to expose current SixThirty portfolio companies to corporate partners in the incubator’s new regions.
