ScaleUP! Kansas City names entrepreneurs of newest cohort

A Kansas City-area entrepreneurship program has revealed its list of 20 local companies that will join its 11th cohort.

Now in its sixth year, ScaleUP! Kansas City is a 16-week intensive program designed to provide coaching and connections to companies so they can build their businesses and strengthen the Kansas City region’s economy. ScaleUP! is run by the UMKC Innovation Center and targets companies with at least $200,000 in revenue that are looking to expand.

The 175 current and previous participants run businesses in industries like security, marketing, fitness, construction, insurance, tech, sanitation and education.

“ScaleUP! KC companies make headlines, create jobs and are key parts of the engine that drives the economy in the Kansas City region,” ScaleUP!
