Kansas City Inventors Pitch Their Product on ABC’s ‘Shark Tank’

Two Kansas City inventors this week will make their pitch on ABC’s “Shark Tank” series, seeking backing for a product that turns a disposable zipper bag into a bowl.

The brothers, Kevin and Brian Fleming, will show off their “BagBowl” invention on Friday’s episode, which airs at 7 p.m.

The idea for BagBowl spun out of the popularity of plastic zipper bags that people use to store snacks and leftovers.

“Our exoskeleton gives those bags structure so you can consume out of those bags on the go,” said Kevin Fleming, CEO of Instabol LLC in Kansas City. Read more on Kansas City Business Journal.
