Adarza BioSystems, a life-science startup that was recruited in April by BioGenerator to relocate from New York to St. Louis, has landed a $250,000 investment from Cultivation Capital, the investor announced Wednesday. The investment is the first from Cultivation Capital’s life sciences fund launched last month.

Adarza develops and manufactures medical devices that can help with cancer diagnostics and allergy testing, among other applications. Adarza has also recently received a $200,000 investment from the Missouri Technology Corporation, a $50,000 Arch Grant and additional investments from the BioGenerator, St. Louis Arch Angels and other private investors.
