BioSTL Uses Grant To Promote Entrepreneurial Diversity

BioSTL, a group that promotes St. Louis’ medical and plant-science industries, has launched a program to help more women and members of minority groups become entrepreneurs.

The coalition announced a $100,000 grant from Blackstone Charitable Foundation that will be used to identify high-potential women and minority bioscience entrepreneurs and help them to create viable high-growth ventures.

BioSTL has hired Cheryl Watkins-Moore as director of bioscience and entrepreneurial inclusion.
