Kauffman Foundation Event Looks To Connect City, Startups

An event Saturday at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation hopes to foster a better relationship between Kansas City, its citizens and the area’s startup community. With an aim to mobilize action to better the community, CityCampKC 2014 will dive into such topics as the sharing economy, startup community-building, civic technology and others. The event will follow an “unconference” model, in which attendees help create the event’s content to determine the program’s agenda. An organizer said about 250 people with a variety of experience attended last year’s event.
