Missouri State University approved its 2012 – 2013 budget as Governor Nixon announced cuts to higher education. The cuts came in significantly lower than university officials had expected, leaving MSU with more money than expected due to a tuition increase.

Boeing’s Defense, Space and Security segment based in Hazelwood, Mo. (a St. Louis suburb) will construct about 20 percent of the parts for as part of a new $340 million military contract.
