KC Web startup MindMixer raises another $17 million for expansion

About three months after moving from Nebraska to Kansas City, MindMixer LLC announced today that it closed a multi-million funding round led by Dundee Venture Capital. The funding round also included Govtech Fund and other undisclosed investors.

MindMixer, which created a web-based community engagement platform on which organizations interact with constituents, has now raised $23.2 million since its founding in 2011. MindMixer has added about 25 staffers from the area, bringing its total employee count to 74.

By the end of September, MindMixer will grow to about 90 employees, and within a year MindMixer hopes to have about 160 people.
