St. Louis accelerator invests in 6 startups

Capital Innovators, a technology business accelerator based at the T-Rex incubator in downtown St. Louis, has invested in six new startup companies, including its first foreign business.

Those companies are Reach Dynamics, HIPAA Trek, Global Yodel, PFITR, SmartCare Consultants and Israeli company TAKO Technology. Each of those companies will receive a $50,000 seed investment as part of the deal.

The accelerator has invested in 40 companies since it began operations in 2011. Capital Innovators said it received more than 200 applications for the fall 2014 class, a new high.
