Kauffman hosting Facebook chat on entrepreneurship as prelude to annual address

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation is hosting a discussion about the barriers faced by entrepreneurs and broadcasting it via Facebook Live Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. CST.

Staffers from the Kansas City-based foundation’s entrepreneurship team will join Congressional staffers at a Washington bar for a discussion about the barriers and problems in entrepreneurship and business creation. Viewers of the Facebook Live stream can ask questions that will be discussed during the event.

“We want to hear what people who start companies see as barriers,” said Barb Pruitt, director of communications at the Kauffman Foundation.

The live stream is being billed as a prelude to the foundation’s annual State of Entrepreneurship address. Kauffman Foundation President and CEO Wendy Guillies will deliver that address Thursday in Washington.

Wednesday’s broadcast can be accessed via Kauffman’s Facebook page.
