SXSW Interactive 2014

All day (Austin, Texas)

The 21st annual SXSW Interactive Festival returns to Austin from Friday, March 7 through Tuesday, March 11. An incubator of cutting-edge technologies and digital creativity, the 2014 event features five days of compelling presentations and panels from the brightest minds in emerging technology, scores of exciting networking events hosted by industry leaders and an unbeatable lineup of special programs showcasing the best new websites, video games and startup ideas the community has to offer. Forum: KC’s Health Care Economy

8-10 a.m. at Union Station (30 West Pershing Road, Kansas City)

A forum on the effects of health care reform on the Kansas City community health workforce and overall economy will be held Tuesday at Union Station.

Sponsors are the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the Mid-America Regional Council and a health worker committee of the Regional Health Care Initiative.

The event is designed to provide overviews for business owners, health care providers, hospitals, safety net clinics, community service organizations and insurers.

St. Charles Real Estate Investors Association: Monthly Meeting/Open Discussion

7 p.m. at Grappa Grill (1644 Country Club Plaza, St. Charles)

We meet the second Tuesday of every month. Mark your calendars. Members have asked to have more networking time and open discussion time so that is what we are doing. Suggestions are always welcomed. Just ask for the Real Estate Group when you get there. There is no charge for the meeting, but we do ask that everyone patronize the restaurant and purchase an appetizer and drink at a minimum so we are welcomed back each week.
