StartLouis is a grassroots community of bootstrappers, solopreneurs, and startup enthusiasts in St. Louis, Missouri. Our mission is to bring St. Louis entrepreneurs together for learning and collaboration.

Our monthly meetup event features a presentation and Q&A session with an accomplished St. Louis CEO, plus a short talk from one of our own members. All are welcome, free of charge!

SBA Webinar: Government Contracts Negotiations

Noon-4 p.m. at SBTDC – UMKC (4747 Troost Ave., Kansas City)

This is the discounted registration for the seven-webinar series for the SBA 7(j) program for businesses. Topics include government contracting and construction business management. Hosted by the UMKC SBTDC and MO PTAC, this lunch-and-learn federal contracting series will have SBA staff on site to assist and answer questions. All webinars in this series are provided by the SBA at no cost to the participant.

Rise & Shine Networking Group

7-8:30 a.m. at Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce (2201 First Capitol Drive, St. Charles)

Only one person from a profession/business will be represented in this group. Visitors (including non-Chamber members) are welcome to come TWICE to observe the individual groups in action as a selling tool to potential members. Each participant is encouraged to bring leads to every meeting. Each participant agrees at the time of formation that attendance is critical, and if they realize they cannot live up to their obligation, they should voluntarily withdraw for the good of the group.
