One Kansas City organization hopes it can bring new millennials to town with food, drink and maybe a little beer pong.

LiveKC, an organization established to help attract millennials to Kansas City, will host the Fiery Stick Open on Friday evening at the Liberty Memorial.

The event will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on the lawn of the memorial, and will offer music, food, drinks and games ranging from badminton to beer pong. Participants also have a chance to win $1 million by scoring a hole in one on a 170-yard, 3-par golf hole.

The organization also hosted an art fair party and ping pong tournament earlier this year. Sponsors include: Black & Veatch; Burns & McDonnell; Cerner Corp.;DST Systems Inc.; H&R Block Inc.; Hallmark Cards Inc.; JE Dunn Construction;Kansas City Power & Light; Sprint Corp.;Sporting Kansas City; and Sporting Innovations LLC.
