Weeklong event in Kansas City

Bloch Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards event has been an iconic Kansas City tradition since 1985. Beyond its philanthropic cause, this event is a valuable forum where Kansas City CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, industry legends, world-class faculty and students alike are able to celebrate a common passion. Learn more


Northwest Chamber Tuesday Morning Coffee & Networking

One in a Million competition final

9-10 a.m. at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center (801 Rockhill Road, Kansas City)

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s inaugural One in a Million pitch competition is for entrepreneurs who have presented at 1 Million Cups events across the country. After Tuesday’s semifinal round featuring 15 startups, five finalists will compete Wednesday for a $10,000 grand prize. Video of the event will be streamed online, and 1 Million Cups groups across the state and country will tune in. Learn more

Startup Connection gives St. Louis’ top startups the opportunity to present their companies to a packed house of entrepreneurs, investors, and other members of the innovation community. Operation JumpStart

Operation JumpStart is a nationally recognized, highly successful training model for individuals considering starting or expanding a business.
