Missouri will play role in presidential picks

Voters in Missouri will go to the polls for a presidential primary on Tuesday.

Both parties will be offering ballots with their presidential candidates. Democrats, Republicans and independents can cross over and cast ballots in either primary, but voters may vote only in one primary.

Across the state, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A poll of Missourians conducted by the Docking Institute of Public Affairs showed Trump with a small lead over Cruz among Republicans, 36 percent to 29 percent. The poll also showed Clinton leading Sanders, 47-40 percent, with 13 percent undecided.

Missouri is one of five states voting  in Tuesday nominations, which have not yet been decided in either party.
