Early next year, there will be a new chairman of the Missouri Republican Party.
John Hancock has helped Missouri’s Republican Party to historic wins in recent years, including a sweep of five statewide offices up for grabs in November, but now he is preparing to step down as the state party’s chairman.
Hancock says he’s been planning to step down ever since he took over the post in February of last year. He says that he is unsure of who will succeed him.
The party will choose it’s next chair January 7th.
