After a series of delays, St. Louis’ Loop Trolley will start to transport paying customers on Thursday.
The launch of the $51 million line follows months of testing and training.
Construction on the project started in 2015. The trolley was initially expected to be operational in late 2016.
The 2.2-mile route runs between the Delmar Loop in University City and the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis.
Initially, the line will run from Thursdays through Sundays. Fares are $2 for two hours and $5 for an entire day.
