Energizer announces change to board leadership

Energizer Holdings, the St. Louis-based battery manufacturer, has selected a new board chairman.

Patrick Moore, previously Energizer’s vice chairman, will become chairman, effective immediately. He takes over for Patrick Mulcahy, who has been chairman since Energizer’s split with its personal care division, now called Edgewell Personal Care, in July 2015.

Moore, 64, has been on the board since July 2015. He is president and CEO of PJM Advisors, a private equity firm.

Mulcahy, 73, will continue to serve on the board.
