Employee training company BizLibrary raises funds from Primus Capital

BizLibrary, a St. Louis company that provides web-based employee training tools, has raised “major growth investment” from private equity firm Primus Capital.

The amount was not disclosed, but it is enough to help the company expand its product line and client reach in the market, according to a press release.

Primus lists its typical investment amount as between $15 million and $70 million, and says it typically funds companies with enterprise values of $250 million.

BizLibrary, founded in 1996 by Dean Pichee, provides a large collection of short, video-based employee training lessons on core skills, compliance and industry-specific topics. There company’s video library currently contains more than 7,000 titles, according to the release.
