Rams set to repay $24 million to St. Louis license holders

The Los Angeles Rams have signed off on a settlement that could bring up to $24 million to personal seat license-holders in St. Louis who sued after the football team moved to Los Angeles in 2016.

Attorneys in the case submitted a filing Wednesday saying a motion to approve the settlement was “ripe” for a judge’s ruling.

The Rams have hired a claims administrator, according to the filing, and license-holders can expect to hear about the settlement within about three weeks of approval.

The team has also agreed to pay up to $7.4 million in legal fees as part of the settlement.
