Arkansas manufacturer plans to open St. Peters facility, add 88 jobs

Central States Manufacturing on Tuesday announced and broke ground on a new facility in St. Peters that is expected to create 88 jobs, according to a press release from the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Central States, based in Rogers, Arkansas, makes metal siding and roofing. The St. Peters plant will be the company’s first location in Missouri and 10th overall.

Adam Haynes, Central States vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release that the facility would enable the company “to better serve our customers in the Missouri and Illinois area with faster lead-time to help grow their business.”

The 53,600-square-foot plant is scheduled to open later this year, according to the release.
