Mercy Health Plans Specialty Center for St. Charles County

Chesterfield-based Mercy Health has purchased about 50 acres in St. Charles County where it plans to build a multi-specialty center and possibly an acute care hospital, a Mercy executive confirmed.

The development site is in O’Fallon, on the west side of Highway K.

Last October, Mercy announced its intention to invest about $290 million in building projects in St. Charles County during the next several years. More specifically, Mercy executives announced that they planned to build not only a multi-specialty center in St. Charles County but also an acute-care hospital. They did not say where.
